PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT / CLEAR PROCEDURES

Every issue deserves attention. Every resolution starts with clarity.

This Returns and Complaints Policy outlines the procedures for reporting delivery discrepancies, product defects and service-related concerns involving products, systems and solutions supplied under the Curro brand.

Curro technologies are intended primarily for professional, enterprise, institutional, governmental, security and defense-related customers. Supply arrangements are generally conducted on a business-to-business (B2B) or business-to-government (B2G) basis and are governed by the applicable quotation, contract or supply agreement.

The legal entity acting as Seller is identified in the relevant commercial documentation. This Policy provides a general framework and does not limit any rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

01 / 06

Scope & applicability

01

Professional and institutional customers

This Policy applies to products, technical equipment, systems and related solutions supplied under the Curro brand to professional and institutional customers.

Rights and obligations relating to delivery, product conformity, material defects and warranty claims are determined by the applicable contract and governing law.

The contracting Seller is the legal entity identified in the relevant invoice, quotation or sales agreement.

02

Commercial terms and legal rights

B2B and B2G transactions are subject to the applicable commercial agreement and relevant legal requirements.

Statutory consumer withdrawal rights associated with eligible consumer distance contracts do not automatically apply to transactions concluded by business or government customers acting in those capacities.

Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude mandatory legal protections that may apply to a particular transaction.

02 / 06

Delivery & product inspection

03

Inspection upon delivery

Upon receipt of a delivery, the Buyer should inspect the goods as soon as reasonably possible, taking into account the nature of the equipment and the agreed delivery conditions.

The inspection should include checking the delivered quantities, visible condition of packaging, product identification, accessories and conformity with the agreed documentation.

Where Croatian law governs a commercial sale, visible defects must generally be notified to the Seller without delay, subject to the applicable legal and contractual conditions.

04

Damage, shortages and discrepancies

If goods appear damaged, incomplete or inconsistent with the agreed delivery, the Buyer should document the situation and notify the appropriate Seller without delay.

Supporting information may include photographs, delivery documents, shipping references, package condition and the identification of affected products.

Where transport damage is involved, responsibility is determined by the applicable delivery terms, transfer-of-risk provisions and relevant law.

03 / 06

Complaints & non-conformity

05

When a complaint may be submitted

A complaint may be submitted when the Buyer believes that the delivered goods do not conform to the applicable agreement.

Examples include:

  • A product does not correspond to the agreed technical specification or configuration.
  • A material defect is identified in the delivered equipment.
  • An incorrect product or component was delivered.
  • Goods are missing or quantities differ from the confirmed order.
  • Damage occurred during transport and may give rise to a claim under the applicable terms.
06

How to submit a complaint

Complaints should be submitted in writing to the relevant Seller using the contact details in the transaction documents or through:

info@curro-tech.eu

To assist with the review, please include:

  • Company or organization name.
  • Invoice, order or contract reference.
  • Product name, model and identification details.
  • A clear description of the reported problem.
  • Relevant photographs, documentation or observed system behavior.
07

Hidden defects and notification periods

Certain defects may only become apparent after the equipment has been installed, configured or placed into operation.

Such issues should be reported promptly after discovery, in accordance with the applicable contract and law.

Under Croatian law, commercial buyers are generally required to notify the Seller of hidden defects without delay after discovering them, subject to statutory conditions, liability periods and any valid contractual arrangements.

04 / 06

Technical assessment & resolution

08

Complaint review and evaluation

Following receipt of a complaint, the relevant Seller or authorized technical service team may review the submitted information and request additional documentation where necessary.

Depending on the nature of the product and the reported issue, a technical inspection, diagnostic assessment or further verification may be required.

The Buyer will be informed of the relevant findings and proposed next steps within a reasonable period, taking into account technical complexity and applicable deadlines.

09

Possible remedies and outcomes

Where a complaint is justified, the available remedies depend on the relevant contract, the nature of the defect and applicable law.

Appropriate remedies may include:

  • Repairing the product or eliminating the defect.
  • Providing a replacement product or component.
  • Agreeing to an appropriate price reduction.
  • Partial or full termination of the relevant agreement, where legally or contractually justified.

The selection and implementation of a remedy remain subject to the Buyer's applicable rights, the Seller's obligations and any valid contractual provisions.

05 / 06

Product returns & logistics

10

Return authorization

Buyers should obtain written return instructions before physically shipping equipment to the Seller or an authorized service location.

Return authorization helps ensure that the appropriate receiving location, documentation and technical handling arrangements are confirmed before dispatch.

Equipment shipped without prior coordination may be delayed or may require additional handling. This administrative procedure does not restrict legally enforceable defect rights.

11

Return destination and packaging

The correct return destination will be communicated in writing after the relevant return or service request has been reviewed.

Buyers should not send equipment to a general correspondence address unless that address has been expressly confirmed for the return.

Returned equipment should be appropriately packaged and accompanied by the required shipping and identification documents.

Any applicable customs, transport or regulatory requirements must also be observed.

12

Return shipping costs and responsibility

Transport costs, insurance, risk and other logistical responsibilities relating to returns are allocated according to the applicable agreement and governing law.

Where a return results from a confirmed defect or delivery error attributable to the Seller, the Seller is responsible for applicable return costs to the extent required by law or the contractual arrangement.

Returns requested for reasons unrelated to a Seller-attributable defect or error may be subject to separate approval and agreed transport charges.

06 / 06

Warranty, legal rights & contact

13

Warranty limitations and exclusions

Product-specific warranty conditions are defined in the applicable contract, technical documentation or warranty statement.

Depending on the relevant agreement and applicable law, warranty coverage may exclude problems demonstrably caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Improper handling, installation or storage.
  • Operation contrary to applicable instructions or technical requirements.
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs that cause the reported problem.
  • External damage or circumstances not attributable to the Seller.

Minor cosmetic variations that do not constitute a contractual non-conformity or actionable defect may not qualify for a remedy.

14

Applicable legal framework

Where Croatian law governs the transaction, liability for material defects and the Buyer's available rights are regulated by the Croatian Obligations Act (Zakon o obveznim odnosima), as amended, and the relevant contractual arrangements.

Where another governing law has been validly agreed or mandatory legal provisions apply, the rights and obligations of the parties are determined accordingly.

This Policy does not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
